My Two-Week Branding and Web Design Process
“I really want to give my blog a new look, but I don’t want to drag this process out for over a month.”
“I need to rejuvenate my boutique’s branding and website, but it’s waaaay too much work for me right now.”
“I finally want to put my creative business into action, but the thought of starting from the bottom scares the bajeebies out of me.”
If you have ever had any of these thoughts above, you have landed in the right place. My two week branding and web design process isn’t as difficult as you think. Streamlined for perfection, one-on-one connection, and broken into three segments (pre-design, design, and post-design), this process will have your queendom built before you can even purchase a throne.
PRE-DESIGN
BOOKING
To begin the process, clients go to the contact page on my website to submit an inquiry.
After the inquiry is submitted, I respond to the potential clients with any questions and hesitations they may have.
If clients are 100% on booking my services, they can also go ahead and book their consultation call at the same time as submitting their inquiry.
CONSULTATION CALL
The consultation calls are also scheduled on the contact page of my website.
During this consultation call, the potential client and I discuss how they want their business to be seen and valued as, what image they have for their branding and website, what they want to achieve out of their branding and website, and receive further insider knowledge about the process.
CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT
If the potential client and I determine that we are “happily ever after”, a contract and 50% deposit is sent to the client.
Once the contract and payment are signed and paid by the client, their date is booked into my calendar and then the party begins.
WELCOME PACKAGE AND CLIENT HOMEWORK
Two weeks before the client’s designated booking date, a welcome package is sent that includes all of the information about the process from that point on until the very end.
Inside of the welcome package is the client homework.
Ugh yes, I said the word homework (I’m gonna work on a more “queendom” version of saying the work homework lol).
The client homework is everything I need from the client that pertains to their website, such as: copy, images, specific “must-haves’ that need to be on their website, creating a Pinterest board, filling out branding and web design questionnaires, etc.
ONE WEEK PRIOR E-MAIL AND COMING SOON PAGE CREATED
The last step in the pre-design process is just a super quick e-mail convo answering any last minute questions and explaining the importance of teamwork during the next two weeks.
Also, the “coming soon” page is created in Squarespace.
WEEK ONE
Week one is dedicated towards branding only. After the completion of every design project, it is sent to the client for approval or revisions. The client has as many revisions as they want with the branding projects, but only in the branding week. After week one is completed, no further branding revisions can be made.

POST DESIGN
SURVEY
Once the process is complete and clients are loving their new queendom, I send a post-design survey, asking the clients to explain the problem that brought them to Haley Davis Branding and Design, the solution that they thought was necessary, and the resolution they received from Haley Davis Branding and Design.
